We met in college and ran in the same circles, but didn't reconnect until late 2023 through that same college friend group. We slowly started taking interest in each other, texting while we were bored at work, getting on FaceTime calls for no reason, and "inconspicuously" flirting when we were hanging out (which we found out that, according to our friends, we are very conspicuous…whoops). Eventually we went on our first date in May of 2024, and 9-ish months later, we are engaged! There's no doubt God had his hand in this. He has already redeemed so much hurt in both of our lives through each other, using us as broken vessels to pour out his grace, love, and truth.
