This is the plantation that you'll hear Jacob and Nick talk about the most. While this plantation is their favorite, they may be a little biased because they both work here! Nick is a part time operations manager, and Jacob is a tour guide! This plantation has been family owned and operated for 140+ years. The Waguespack family purchased this property 10 years after the civil war, and lived here until 2008! To Jacob and Nick, the Waguespack's aren't blood family, but close kin. Visit this plantation if you would like a down-home experience. Home to many famous movies such as Academy Award & Oscar winning 12 Years a Slave.
Everyone has to do a swamp tour when they come to New Orleans! Jacob and Nick recommend Zam's Swamp Tours in Bayou Bouef, Louisiana! You will certainly have a great time, and you wont want to leave!
