This picture was from our second date and is the first photo we have together. Mekenna was introduced to Jacob's friends and we all went out for a night of drinks and cornhole at Log Cabin in Turlock.

Here is us at our first concert together. We were invited by Mekenna's sister and brother-in-law to see Dwight Yoakam! This was Jacob's first meeting of the family :)

In typical Fall fashion, we went on a date to Dell'Osso Family Farm. While sampling ciders, we made our relationship official <3

Both of us share a love for country music. In a spur of the moment decision, we flew to Las Vegas to see George Strait in concert since this was supposed to be his last tour (he then added more dates for 2023 :P)

As previously mentioned, we love country music! In April of 2023, we got a group of friends to travel to Indio for the Stagecoach festival.

How will we ever top this? Our first international vacation together was to Iceland! We saw many waterfalls, glaciers, and even got to eat exotic foods. Here is us at Skogafoss waterfall.

To celebrate our first year anniversary, we had a fun weekend in Santa Cruz. We rode the big dipper at the boardwalk and got a caricature drawn of us!

Ok, I guess we topped Iceland. In our second big vacation, we got engaged!!! Jacob proposed at the Canmore Engine bridge in Canada. To sneakily capture the moment, Jacob told Mekenna they were just going to take pictures for fun. Instead, Jacob had his drone ready to get some photos and videos of the surprise moment.

Never a dull moment: here we are celebrating our two year dating anniversary. We went to Monterey where we went whale watching (we saw three humpback whales btw), enjoyed clam chowder on the wharf, and listened to live jazz music downtown.
