Can I bring a date?
We are so excited to have all of our people in one place. Because we have so many people who we would love to attend our special day, we had a limited number of plus ones to give out. Whether or not you have a guest will be indicated on your RSVP.

If you do not have a date, stay tuned. Round two draft picks are not out of the question. As RSVPs are collected, we will reach out to you directly if numbers allow for you to bring a guest.

What should I wear?
Our hope is for our whole day to be outside because summer in West Michigan is simply the best, and the bride needs her sunshine.

Think semi-formal summer garden party! Feel free to embrace fun colors and patterns. Make sure you come dressed to dance. What's most important to us is that you are present to celebrate with us, not what you wear.

Addendum: It's going to be HOT! Who knew we'd have a heat advisory in June? Some years we are still in the high 60s at this time of year. Michigan is crazy. While we still would like you to look nice, please feel free to dress for the weather. Think afternoon on the golf course or Sunday church in the summer. Khaki shorts, short sleeves, and short dresses are fine. We care more about your comfort than what you wear.

Where can I stay?
We know June is a busy time in West Michigan, so see our travel page for a few suggestions.

Just so you know...
We have decided to have our wedding day be a dry celebration. We feel like this will best align with our values, hopes, and vision for this day. As we are fully confident in our community's ability to have fun and party without alcohol, so we kindly ask that you join us in saving the drinks for another celebration or after the party.
