By a twist of fate, Jacob & Myra met on the popular dating app, Hinge. They were both seeking a serious, forever lasting relationship.


On the Monday before Thanksgiving November 21, 2022, Myra decided to give it one last shot, before closing her account. Anyone that knows Myra knows that she does not like to drive far from her home, which she considers to be more than 15 mins, plus avoids driving on the freeway unless necessary. With that said, she initially had her dating search radius set to her local area, but she decided to expand her dating search radius from 20 to 30 miles.


Fortunately for Jacob, he was now in Myra’s radius and got caught in Myras net. Myra’s search pulled up Jacob’s profile and after reading his information and viewing his profile pictures, which included his family and dog Zeus she felt intrigued. Soo… Yes! Myra swiped right on Jacob’s profile first, selecting to connect with him. Jacob soon after also swiped right and the start of their Love story began.


After texting and talking to each other on the phone, Jacob asked Myra on a first date. It only took three dates for Jacob to know he wanted to make it official and ask Myra to be his girlfriend.


Jacob & Myra enjoyed getting to know each other better and simultaneously building their bond over dinner dates, video game dates, and outdoor long chats. Their bonding and care for each other blossomed into true love for each other. Although only dating for about 1 month, they could not help but recognize and express their true love for each other, and I love you’s were exchanged! Both felt a unique love for each other and felt a great connection that could be forever. Excitement filled the air, as both Jacob & Myra finally felt like they found their person that they could build a life and family together with.


In the next few weeks Jacob introduced Myra to his family and Myra followed by doing the same. It was clear that both wanted to make sure their families met the special person they already saw a forever future. During this time, Jacob was living in Webster, TX, and he would visit Myra frequently, despite the long drive. With Jacobs lease soon ending on April 29, 2023, it was a no-brainer for him to move closer to Myra in The Heights area of Houston, and conveniently found a great location just approximately 4 minutes away from Myras apartment. Myra was over the moon to have Jacob and Zeus so close by. Jacob & Myra love living in The Heights and especially love the fact that they have been able to see each other every single day since Jacob relocated.


The next months flew by as Jacob and Myra continued to grow as a couple and really focused on building a long lasting relationship. Their shared love for travel took them to Orlando, FL for Myras annual Disney trip, San Antonio on multiple occasions to visit with Jacobs Family, and a beach trip to The Bahamas. The newlyweds plan on enjoying their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii the week after the wedding!


Asides from their travel adventures, Jacob & Myra enjoy taking their dogs Lali & Zeus for walks around the neighborhood and at Memorial Park in Houston. They also are movie buffs and love trying Houstons hottest food spots! Family continues to be the most important thing, and they also hold their friends very close to their hearts.


Jacob & Myra cannot wait to share their big day with you. They look forward to joining as one and building the exciting life that is ahead of them.
