Jacob was the bartender/ chef at our local dive bar. We had both frequented that bar as patrons and were just missing each other for 3 years! End of January 2020 Jacob had been working at Bert’s and finally met Emily. Talk about the stars aligning! Emily wrote her phone number on a napkin for the cute bartender, then a few weeks after that on Valentine’s Day we went on our first date. We visited the MOPOP and rode the Ferris wheel in Seattle.

After 3 years together, Jacob proposed to Emily at her 30th birthday celebration in Las Vegas on March 11th, 2024.
