Sam and Jacob met at Impact 360 in 2014 where they shared room 3 on the old South Campus. Sam has been a source of encouragement, wisdom, and adventure over the past 10 years.

Jonathan is another former roommate of Jacob’s. They met during the early days of Covid in 2020. Jonathan’s integrity, courage and wisdom brings out the best in the people around him. His love for the Lord and care for people is evident and contagious! Everyone needs a Jonathan Melber in their life!

Ben and Jacob met while in school at Cedarville University studying industrial design. Ben has the quiet determination and the patience to overcome any challenge that comes his way! His sense of adventure, big imagination and his discernment have been a source of continual enrichment to Jacob. Most importantly, the way he loves the Lord and his family is a testimony to goodness of God.

Jacob’s younger brother has a penchant for traveling and topology (both the mathematical kind and hike-able terrain). He’s spent the last five years in Scotland and Germany where he’s made lots of new friends and memories. He’s a big thinker and you will most likely learn something new when you talk to him.

Lifelong family friend and the reason Laurie and I had the chance to meet.

As the eldest brother, he probably spent most of our growing up years making sure Jacob did his homework and stayed out of trouble. Thankful for him! He loves an exciting story and great, big adventures!

Laurie’s eldest sister who is wife to Albert Tzeng and mother to the cutest lil boys Noah and Isaac. Anna and her family live in Opelika, Alabama where they work in the Navigators ministry at Auburn. Anna is a lover of dance, corny jokes and tight hugs, and has always been the little big sister Laurie has looked to as an example of a woman after Gods heart.

Amy is the second of the four sisters, and shares middle child status with Laurie. She is wife to Air Force pilot, Evan Dunker and mother of two cuties, Carson and Madeline. She loves spending time outside, having a hard laugh, and beating you in any and every game. Laurie admires her supernatural patience, love for others and eagerness to try new things.

Carrie is Laurie’s youngest sibling and roommate up until high school. She is wife to Matt Green and soon to be mother of baby Alice! She is creative, others centered and loyal. Laurie relies on Carrie for a sense of style and admires her steadfast faith.

Rachel is fellow runner and close friend of Laurie. She is wife to Zachary Sprinkle and mother of Joseph, living on their little chicken farm in Hanover VA. Rachel loves creating beautiful things, exploring new places and laughing really hard. Rachel is a servant of others, seeker of truth and gives herself fully to whatever the Lord places in her life.

As Jacob's only sister and the youngest of the Fierer family, she is incredibly witty and kind. Elena is currently working at Shenandoah University's conservatory of music as an admissions counselor. She loves to sing and always has a great music recommendations.

Laurie met Monica back in their peak awkward days in middle school. Monica is wife to Alex Brygger and mother to baby Owen. Monica is the prime example of what an enneagram 7 looks like—a lover of fun, people and new adventures. She doesn’t know a stranger and inspires Laurie to love and pursue others with the love and affection of Christ.

Alyssa was one of the first people Laurie met in youth group, after Laurie returned from France to a new church. Alyssa is wife to Brennan Cameli and mother to baby Gideon! Alyssa is a warm and welcoming friend to all and loves people generously. Laurie loves her goofiness and is inspired by her humility and authenticity.

Andrea is Laurie’s “4th sister.” They became close friends after both transferring to Clemson for track. Andrea is a lover of singing, running, and SpongeBob. She is constantly looking for ways to bless others through her time and talents, and challenges Laurie to pray more boldly and laugh more loudly.
