Q + A

Is this going to be a kid friendly event?

Yes! We would love to have little ones attend. The dance floor will be calling their names. There will be drinks, food, activities, etc. to keep them entertained. There will be plenty of eyes watching, but please ensure to be aware of where your child is running off to.

Is there a dress code?

Not in particular. We want everyone to be comfortable in what they are wearing for the evening. It’s a fall-ish wedding(the day after Halloween), so would prefer no bright colors. Suggested colors would be reds, blacks, greys, gold, burgandy which go with the color scheme. So feel free to whip out the jeans, dresses, slacks, etc. Don’t forget the comfortable shoes for dancing!

What is the best way to RSVP? When is RSVP due? Can I bring a plus-one?

We would love to have you RSVP through this website if able. The deadline for RSVP’s will be October 8th. If you have a plus one, or multiple kids coming with and it’s not allowing to add more guests to your RSVP please reach out to the bride or groom. We don’t want to exclude anyone, and this way we have a better idea on headcount.

Your venue is in the middle of nowhere. What are the accommodation options?

This venue is in fact, out in the boonies. There are several hotels available on the accommodation tab to check out. Options are limited, so earlier you book the better. We highly recommend carpooling, or selecting a DD in advance. We are seeking possible options for a driver to help assist people back, but this is not guaranteed. Please reach out to the bride or groom with questions and we can assist with lodging and/or transportation. Once again. We want everyone to have a fun but SAFE night.

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor? Is there parking available? Is the venue handicap accessible?

The plan is to have the ceremony outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will then be indoors. It’s going to be late fall, so anticipate some chilly weather. There is an outdoor fire pit to sit around, that we will have lit throughout the evening to enjoy. There will be venue staff to guide parking. Yes, the venue is handicap accessible. The ceremony is down a very slight hill next to the barn, and there is gravel outside the venue. There will be plenty of people available to assist if needed.
