Jacob and Bridget met in the 6th grade at Kelvin Grove Junior High. They didn't talk at the time, but grew up knowing the same people. Their relationship began when they re-connected their first year of college through mutual friends. They hit it off by sharing their frustrations working at McDonalds, and spent everyday that first week calling each other until Jacob asked Bridget out on a first date.

Their first date was seeing a sub-par suspense movie, and getting a late night dinner at George's in Lockport. They spent hours at the restaurant talking, sharing memories growing up in the same town. After several dates, they officially became a couple in April 2013.

In their 11 years together, they have two dogs- Jazzy & Oliver - and bought their first home in Joliet. If you know them well, you'll know they prefer to stay home, binge watch tv shows, play video games, share in Jacob's cooking, and go to the dog park.
