What if.. ...if's don't matter!

"IF" is a coordinating conjunction because it can connect two clauses to form a single sentence by presenting the conditional clause.

'If' can be used to refer to a hypothetical situation or condition that may not be true.. and with such being said, I was raised to avoid the "what if's".

That is exactly how our story began!

No what IF's!

It is what it is!

We fell in love, pretty much at first sight! Classic Storybook fairy tale! Except it is no fairy tale at all!

As many of you know, heard or seen our love... it is every bit God sent! Both of us were at a pivotal point in our life and had recently re-established our connection with GOD.

Jacob had asked God to please help him find a good woman who could help him and support him and keep him on the right path.

For myself, my life was in limbo and I too began praying more often and finding myself wanting to go to Church. Asking God for direction of what and where I should be in life.

We met by Jacob striking up a short, simple conversation , asking me what would I be doing if I wasn't working... and in that moment and night to follow I had gotten all these crazy butterflies and could not stop thinking about him. Which was so unexpected as no one had ever gave me butterflies like that nor upon a simple conversation. The following day, our paths had crossed once more..but at this time our eyes met and our Souls danced.

It was an epiphany.. everyone and everything around us melted , and we were subdued into our own magical bubble, no words spoken aloud, yet every being of our souls and every fiber of our existence were brought alive and electrified. We both recall the moment with such clarity , yet could not tell you how long we stared into one another's eyes, in silence. It could have been 10 seconds or 10 minutes... all time had stopped. We knew beyond all measure, doubt and any expectation that there was something God sent and magical and our connection was out of this world and we were meant for one another. Our prayers, wishes and hopes had finally come to fruition.

Our singular paths had now become ONE, and ever since that moment, we have been exactly that - ONE. United and made for each other from GOD and there was and is no denying that.

Everyone we ran across, no matter where it was, always commented on how in love we were.. and are.

We are best friends, partners in all, soul mates, twin flames and belong together.

Our love has never died down, although has been tested throughout the years.

5 years later we are stronger, better and more deeply , passionately, insanely in love with one another.

That is why we decided to re- new our vows, as we are married, but never had the opportunity to have an actual wedding and honeymoon, until now.

So , on June 16th 2024, my birthday- there is no greater present that I could receive than to pronounce our undying , faithful love to one another under God and in front of our loved ones. This date was chosen by Jacob and just feels right, just like our love.
