Our venue site is overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Nantahala mountain view’s in Highlands, North Carolina. The venue is called Rockwood Lodge. All guest will be shuttled to the Lodge from Mountain Retreat & Learning Center Address (3872 Dillard Rd, Highlands, NC 28741). Please arrive to the parking location no later than 3:10, as shuttles depart at 3:15. Once ready to leave the reception, the shuttle will transport you back down the mountain to the parking area.

We kindly ask that our guest wear semi-formal attire. Although our wedding theme is black and white, we threw a country flair in there, so boots are encouraged. Guys can wear dress pants with their sports coats, while the ladies show off in their best dresses. Keep in mind the March mountain air, it will be chilly as the sun sets, you may want to bring a coat to wear.

The cute, Hallmark-esque town of Highlands, NC is another reason as to why we chose this at our wedding setting. There are some of the cutest inn’s and lodges to stay in. As our venue sits on top of the mountain, all guest must be transported by shuttle. There are no cars allowed at the venue- please see instructions for transportation below. Please arrive to the parking location no later than 3:10, as shuttles depart at 3:15. DEPARTURE FROM RECEPTION: When you are ready to depart from the wedding reception, the shuttle will take you back down the mountain to the parking location. Departure shuttles run from 7:00pm-10:00pm.
