Brenna and Jacob’s journey began at James Madison University during Jacob's second semester of senior year. Despite their brief overlap, it wasn’t until April—just a month before Jacob’s graduation—that he decided to ask Brenna to be his date to his final date function. That night marked the beginning of something truly special, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

After graduating in May of 2020, Brenna moved to Arlington, VA in December to be closer to Jacob. Their little family grew in March 2023 when they adopted their bernedoodle, Snoopy. Brenna dreams of having Snoopy play a part in their big day, though Jacob remains a bit skeptical of allowing him to be a groomsman.

On March 23, 2024, Jacob proposed to Brenna on the Alexandria waterfront. Now, they’re counting down the days until 9/20/25, when they’ll officially begin the next chapter of their story as husband and wife.
