Q + A

What is the dress code?

We ask that everyone wear formal attire to our wedding. That being said, the ceremony will be outdoors in October so dress appropriately!

Are children invited?

Although we love your little ones, the wedding is an adults only evening. Thank you for making arrangements ahead of time for your children! Unfortunately this also includes fur children as much as we would enjoy having them there.

Where should I stay?

Unless you live nearby, we highly encourage everyone to spend the night after our night of celebrating. We will have a shuttle bus providing transportation from the private cabin for immediate family and wedding parties only. We have included information for 2 nearby hotels on our website in the travel tab.

Is there transportation to and from the wedding venue?

There will be transportation to and from the cabin for immediate family and the wedding parties! As we know our families enjoy partaking in consumption of spirits, we've graciously provided safe transportation for our loved ones.

Is there parking for those of us that wish to drive?

Yes! There is ample parking space at the venue. It is a little bit of a walk though so you may wish to drop the grandmas off at the door! That being said, our venue is secluded in the woods so if you leave after dark, please drive carefully!

What time does the ceremony start?

The invitation says 3:00 PM, but the website says 2:45 PM. Show up at 2:45. Don't be that person walking in late because you thought you'd make it by 3. Plan for 2:45.

Will there be an open bar?

Of course! We're not heathens, all drinks are on Mr. Mehay ;)

Is smoking allowed?

Yes! You may smoke cigarettes, cigars, vapes, or marijuana near the firepit or at our cigar lounge outside! If you smoke outside of these designated areas, we will be fined $500, if this happens and we know who it was that means YOU will be charged $500 ;).
