Our Wedding

When Jacob and I first met it was literally a "leap of faith". We were introduced through a mutual friend via social media and after we spent a week or so just text messaging, we finally decided to try and meet up one weekend at Lake Anna. Jacob was out on his jetski with friends on one boat &amp; I was out on another friend's boat. When we finally got in the same area of the lake I decided to take the plunge and I jumped off the boat to properly say hello. Jacob likes to make sure we mention the part about me hitting my head during this jump ( most likely because he feels so lucky to have me that we think I may still be concussed from it LOL) . Once I made it to the water, Jacob was polite enough to offer me his jet ski to hop on to but I declined and continued to tread water until I could stand- don't worry, my beer never touched the water. While this could be a cool time to say "....and that's all she wrote..." - it isn't. I just kept falling for Jacob over and over. The first time we introduced my pup MaeBerry to Jacob's, house hippo, Blue, there was so much excitement that I fell flat on the floor. So while I was physically falling for Jacob quite OFTEN at the beginning of our relationship, we both were emotionally falling a little more in love every day. We have been together a little over three years and everyday we are still continuing to learn about each other, to grow our love for one another, take adventures together, &amp; become each other's best friend. While we try our best to just live our life together day by day, we can't help but be excited for whats to come in the future! Our story is just beginning and we are so glad YOU are here to be a part of it!

The first day that Jacob and I met we went to the Taphouse. We have celebrated birthdays and babies here, we watch one of our very best friends ( &amp; our officiant) play music here often, we always seem to run into old friends and have even made new friends at the Taphouse. Its a great place for kids and adults. Another cool place with great craft beers, ciders, food, &amp; live music with a view of the lake!
