Jacob and Alexandra started back in 2015 without even knowing it. They had mutual friends and even attended the same high school except Jacob graduated as Alexandra was just starting.

Years went by before Jacob saw Alexandra on a dating app. He took the liberty of messaging her. Jacob, being a pilot, used his line of “Would you like to fly with me?” and it worked!

A couple days later they went on their first date to a beautiful lakefront restaurant in Rockford MI. Alexandra will tell you that almost immediately she knew she would marry Jacob and soon after Jacob knew she was the one for him.

Don’t worry he did eventually take her up in an airplane ride over Holland MI and even let her steer!

A season of their love that stands out to them is the fall and winter months of 2023 where they went up to Harbor Springs many times.

They went golfing, explored wineries, restaurants and drove through the tunnel of trees (3 different times). Jacob also had the liberty of teaching Alexandra how to ski for the first time and she is now practically a pro going on black diamonds.

Not long after in March, Jacob took off to training for Envoy while Alexandra held down the fort teaching her students. The distance only made the heart grow fonder when Jacob proposed on October 11, 2024. He pulled off a great surprise with their closest family and friends being a part of the celebration.
