We met each other unconventionally but have been pretty inseparable since we met; our first date was at Brass Rail in February 2021. We talked about anything and everything for several hours and Jake thankfully asked for a second date (we quickly both found out about our shared love for Mexican food and margaritas), and continued to get to know each other better. We officially deemed ourselves a couple on St. Patrick's Day 2021 and we’ve considered ourselves the luckiest since then. Through the next couple of years, we moved in together, I went to nursing school, and we started settling into adulthood.

In 2024 Jake decided to take things to the next level! We were going out for dinner for my birthday, or so I thought, and he asked me to be his wife after going to eat at our favorite date night restaurant. We spent the rest of the night celebrating and laughing, with a lot of very happy tears from me.

We knew pretty early on that we had found our forever, and we are so excited for what is in store for our future. We can’t wait to celebrate becoming husband and wife with all of our favorite people around us. Let's boogie!
