Cherish and Evangelina first met 18 years ago and since then they have been through a lot. This is included potty training, playing nerf guns in the front yard, being mistaken for twins, and working multiple jobs together. Evangelina admires Cherish’s love for the Lord, and how she faithfully points to the Lord in her everyday life. Cherish is full of wisdom, humour, and she has been Evangelina’s closest friend for 18 years!

Anna-Mae is the oldest sister to Evangelina. She is known for her wisdom from the Bible, her love for cooking, and her good sense of humour. Anna-Mae has taught Evangelina lots about what it means to be a woman after God’s heart, and how to display the gospel through marriage as a wife.

Reynia is Evangelina’s younger sister. She is a talented piano player, and she is known for her amazing sense of humour and her creativity. In her free time she loves to read through the Bible cover to cover, and to make homemade soaps and lotions.

Thea is a close friend to Evangelina, and has been a close friend for many years! Thea and Evangelina first met when they were about 11 years old in a swim class. They were the two fastest, so they were immediate enemies. Years later they have developed a very close friendship, and Thea has been the source of very much counsel.

Claire: Hi! I'm Claire Warkentin, I'm 4 years old! Benjamin is my big brother and Chloe is my little sister. I love to wrestle and ride bikes with Uncle Jacob! Hi! I'm Chloe and I'm 2 years old. I am the baby in the family like uncle jacob so we have a special bond! I have lovingly renamed my aunt and uncle; Unc J-Pop and Auntie BeBa. I'm hoping this will catch on. I love Uncle Jacob but he is no match for Eva, I love her so much, I always want to sit with her and hold her hand. Joel McLeod is a brother to the groom. Joel can sometimes be a mysterious man to outsiders, but those who know him discover a man with a tender and protective heart, humour to fill any room with laughter, and a love for Jesus. There is much to admire about Joel, whether it's his mental and physical discipline, his athletic accomplishments, his love for family, or his commitment to his word. The groom and those who know Joel have great respect for the man that he has become, and there is no one in the world the groom would rather stand beside at his wedding, than Joel, who has been such a great role model in his life. Joel is currently working as a civil engineer in Niagara.

Curt Warkentin is a brother-in-law to the groom. Curt met Jacob as a high-pitched 9-year-old boy with a buzzcut his mom gave him. He was quickly looked up to and admired by Jacob for his work ethic, discipline, love for Jacob's sister, Hannah, and of course, as the physical specimen that he is. Curt is a physical freak of nature, in the words of Jacob. Curt has now become a dear friend and confidant to Jacob. He is a friend who you can go months without talking to, and reconnect right where you left off. Jacob is blessed to have such a man of great character stand beside him. Curt is married to Hannah and has three kids, Benjamin, Claire, and Chloe. Curt works as a plumber for a not-for-profit organization that builds tiny homes for the homeless. He and his family live in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Ben DeBoer is a brother-in-law to the groom. Ben met Jacob over covid as a guy who was dating his sister. Jacob tried to be the protective younger brother and intimidated Ben, but this didn't work for a couple of reasons. 1) Ben is tall, really tall. 2) Jacob could identify nothing about Ben's character, faith, and love for his sister that Jacob needed to protect her from. Ben is an admirable man who has become a great role model for Jacob. He has a great servant's heart and is quick to use his gifts and abilities to glorify Jesus through the church. Jacob is beyond thankful to have this dear brother stand next to him. Ben is married to Louisa and lives with their recently born baby, Edison Charles, in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ben is also smart, really smart. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick.

Nathan Hilborn is a friend of the groom. Nathan met Jacob in middle school when his family started attending Redeemer Bible Church. Nathan is Jacob's first call when he is looking for an adventure of any kind. He is someone that will drop everything to help you in any way. Jacob respects how quick Nathan is to serve and how slow he is to become angry. Jacob and Nathan have grown close in all areas of life over the past few years, and he hopes that continues for a lifetime! Nathan is currently in Concurrent Education at Brock University, studying to be a High School gym and drama teacher.
