What is the dress code?

Please dress in semi-formal attire. Semi-formal attire is an outfit that is dressier than what you'd wear to an office but not as dressy as a formal evening gown or tuxedo. Examples of semi-formal attire include a cocktail, midi, or maxi dress, a romper or jumpsuit, or a pantsuit for women and a dark suit, suit jacket, blazer, dress shirt, or dress pants for men. Our bridesmaids dresses will be cabernet/burgundy, so please refrain from wearing any dresses in that color.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Our ceremony will take place at the Fox Hills Summerhouse in the outdoor space next to it. The reception will take place in the actual Summerhouse. The address is 8768 N Territorial Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Yes, there is parking right next to our venue. As soon as your drive down the long path after the entrance, you'll see a parking lot. As soon as you enter the parking lot, to your left, you'll see the Summerhouse. This is our venue. Please don't mistake it for the two other venues that Fox Hills offers further back.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please arrive 30 minutes in advance to allow yourself time to find your seat and settle in.

When will the reception end?

Our reception will end at 11:30PM.

What are the ingredients for each entrée?

Beef Wellington- Bistro Filet, Shallot Mushroom Stuffing, Brandy Demi-Glace, Puff Pastry | Chicken Coq Au Vin Blanc- White Wine Bacon Cream Sauce | Eggplant Parmesan (Vegetarian)- Parmesan Cheese Panko Crust, Mozzarella Cheese, Marinara Sauce, Sautéed Garlic Spinach | Ratatouille (Vegan)- Eggplant, Tomato, Peppers, Zucchini

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, we will be having an open bar. Please do not bring any of your own alcohol as it's against our venue's policy.

What hotel should I reserve a room at?

We have set up a room block for the Hilton Garden Inn Plymouth. Please mention the Minger Wedding when booking a room. The benefit of booking at this hotel is that we have reserved a shuttle to take you to and from the venue and hotel. This way, you can enjoy our open bar and not need to worry about getting a ride back.

Can I bring more guests than were listed on my invitation?

Due to limited seating arrangements, invitations are limited to specified guests only. We appreciate your support and appreciation of our union. We are only able to accomodate guests named on the invitations. Thank you for celebrating with us.

Can I bring my kids?

Due to space restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children at our wedding.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

We're opting for an unplugged ceremony. Please do not take any pictures during the ceremony. At that time, we ask that you turn your phone off or turn the volume to silent. Following the ceremony, we're encourage guests to take as many pictures as they want and to share them on social media using our wedding hashtag #MingPutARingOnIt.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Your presence is enough of a gift, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table and a card box for your convenience
