How do I RSVP?

We are not sending RSVP cards — we ask that you RSVP on our website by clicking on the "RSVP" tab. You will be prompted to enter your name to find your invitation. If there are other people in your party, they will appear together and you can RSVP at the same time.

When is the RSVP deadline?

We ask that you RSVP by May 21, 2026. This is one month before the event. However, it would be appreciated to RSVP as soon as possible!

What should I wear?

The dress code for this event is semi-formal. This link to The Knot's website explains it! But please don't wear white! https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be outside, but the cocktail hour and reception will be inside. The outdoor areas are paved. There is very little shade at the ceremony site, so dress accordingly!

How do I get to the venues?

Cooper's Ridge (our ceremony site) is in Boonville, which is about 25 minutes away from Columbia. Since we are not reserving a block of rooms, we do not have access to a shuttle. If you do not have your own car accessible, we recommend catching a ride with someone else. Otherwise, Uber or Lyft is your best bet. There are also several places to rent a car in Columbia. Please contact us if you anticipate having trouble getting to our venues!

Where do I park?

There are two parking lots at the reception venue — a small lot in the front and a large lot in the back of the building. The small front lot is for immediate family and the wedding party ONLY, so if those do not apply to you, please park in the large lot at the back.

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Your invitation will state how many people are invited with your party, as well as the online RSVP. Due to venue constraints, not everyone will get a plus one or an invitation for kids. If you bring someone that isn't invited, we will unfortunately have to turn them away since we will be fined by the venue if we go over capacity.

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Please leave us a note when you RSVP! We will have several options for dinner, but if you have a specific concern please let us know and we will coordinate with the venue.

Will there be an open bar?

At the cocktail hour, we will have a consumption bar for beer and wine. We will have a set spending limit, so once this limit is reached we will not pay for any more drinks. Again, this is for beer and wine only. There will be a full bar if you would like to drink something else, but you will be responsible for those drinks. At the reception, we will have a cash bar. However, just because do not take advantage of the hosted bar. There will be several opportunities to drink and we don't need anybody in the hospital.

What time can I get there?

We ask that you arrive no earlier than 2:30. But please be on time! We are going to start at exactly 3pm. If you arrive after the ceremony starts you will not be allowed in out of respect for the guest who did arrive on time.

Can I take pictures?

We are hiring a photographer and videographer, so the ceremony will be unplugged, meaning that we ask you keep your phones or cameras put away. Our officiant will make an announcement at the beginning of the ceremony. You are welcome to take pictures at cocktail hour and the reception.

Do you have a registry?

Yes! We never expect any gifts, but if you would like to purchase one, we have a registry through The Knot. Click the "registry" tab on this site to access it. We also have cash funds through the registry if you would like to give a monetary gift.

Can I post pictures on social media?

Please respect our privacy and refrain from posting until AFTER we have made a formal wedding announcement with our professional pictures. After that, post away! But use some common decency — don't post a bad picture of someone!

Have you reserved a block of hotel rooms?

Since our guest list is so small, we are not reserving a block of hotel rooms. Click the "Travel" tab to see our recommended hotels. Airbnb or VRBO are also good options, especially for larger parties. If you need help finding a place to stay, let us know.

How should I travel to the area?

For guests coming from Dallas, you have the option to fly. The airport in Columbia is quite small and only gets flights from American Airlines, so if you'd like to fly make sure you check out their website. You can also fly into the St Louis airport, but avoid Kansas City due to distance. If you need transportation to and from the Columbia airport, please let us know and we can help you. Driving is also a viable option.

What will the weather be like?

The middle of summer can get hot during the day. The ceremony will be at 3pm, so plan on wearing something light. It can cool off a bit at night, so bring a wrap or jacket if you think you'll need it.

What should we do with gifts?

If you choose to get us a gift, The Knot registry store will ship it to us. We will have a card box at ceremony and cocktail hour venue.
