We texted for the first time on 4/16/2024 after being set up by dearest Megan Wise.

I was getting tired of the dating scene and was on the brinks of giving up again. My big long paragraphs and questions didn't scare Jacob away, but they did earn me the nickname paragraph girl for a while. Within a week our first date was arranged and we never stopped hanging out from that point on. Jacob makes me feel safe, seen, understood, and he is very clear I'm not a burden. I never once had to question his intentions, he communicated them from the beginning, and he kept communicating in a way that made me feel safer than I have felt in my entire life.

We had not been dating long when I mentioned candidly that if he ever wanted to propose he could do so with a Berkey (a carbon water filter) and I would be the happiest woman ever!

Fast forward to 11/27/2024, I received that Berkey inside a box that said LEGACY and a bonus was the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. More than those gifts, I received, (second to salvation) the most priceless gift I have ever received! I said yes, to a lifetime with my LOVE!!! What a gift!!! I can't wait to build a LEGACY, with the man I have waited and dreamed of my whole life.
