As most of you know, Jake and I met through my brother Bryan. In 2011 Jake came over for the first time as Bryan’s new friend, they hit it off and our families started hanging out every weekend. This meant Jake and I hanging out every weekend, we quickly became really close and started hanging out all the time! Jake would drive me to and from school buying me food, taking me places and just hanging out with me (nothing has really changed)! Just like that we became best friends! I always thought he was a cutie but, never thought of him that way, we never got tired of each other and hung out all the time. In 2015 that all changed, our families went on a cruise together and somehow Jake and I ended up holding hands in the backseat of a jeep in Mexico. We didn’t think too much into it till we got home, feelings started to develop and we both realized we liked each other. Jake left for college but, still made it a priority to see me almost every weekend. I would go to his golf tournaments and we would spend countless hours facetiming! We weren’t dating yet but, I think it was pretty obvious there was something going on… Eventually Jake talked to his parents, my parents and , his best friend (my brother) and told him he was in love with his sister, which wasn’t surprising to anyone apparently!

September 30th 2016 Jake asked me to be his girlfriend and after five years together making so many amazing memories, building our relationship and falling more in love we got engaged; May 28th 2021. Our Moms were finally able to say they were right (they always said we would get married, even back in 2011)! On November 4th 2022, we get married and we are so excited for this next step in our journey. We can’t wait to share our big day with our favorite people, we wouldn't have made it here without all your endless love and support.
