Ross has shared a close friendship with the bride for over a decade. As Mira and Jacob’s relationship blossomed, Ross and Jacob also formed a meaningful friendship. For both the bride and groom, having Ross officiate their wedding is a deeply special and personal honor.
GROOM'S PARTY
DYLYN MAILLET - Best Man
Dylyn and Jacob met in Korea and have faced some truly unimaginable situations together. Through it all, Dylyn has consistently been there for Jacob, providing unwavering support when it was needed most. In Jacob’s eyes, loyalty is the cornerstone of any strong friendship, and Dylyn has epitomized that quality time and again.
THOMAS MUNCY - Groomsmen
Since meeting Thomas, Jacob has greatly admired his positive attitude toward life and his kind, courteous nature. Thomas has always been a steadfast friend, offering support whenever it was needed. It’s a friendship that Jacob will always hold dear. One of the fondest memories shared between them was attending the Totality Solar Eclipse event in Hagerstown, Indiana, where both won with their classic cars—an experience that truly stands out.
BRAXTON ROBINSON - Groomsmen
Since their time in Fort Lee, Virginia, Braxton has become Jacob's son (a funny little joke between the two of them). Along with their mutual friend, Hunter Culpepper, the three of them shared countless memories, bonding through both the challenges and the good times. Braxton’s passion for music was sparked by the influence of Jacob, which led him to purchase his first guitar. Throughout their journey, they have always made the best out of any situation.
CODY BLAKLEY - Groomsmen
Cody has consistently been a reliable and supportive friend to both Jacob and Mira. He is always willing to lend a hand whenever needed and never hesitates to join in on a good time. His generosity surpasses that of many, and it is a testament to his strong character.
MALU MACIAS - Groomsmen
When Jacob first met Malu, he knew immediately they would become lifelong friends. Malu's positive energy stood out to Jacob making their friendship flow naturally. At the time, Malu had just arrived in Korea from Afghanistan, and the two quickly bonded over shared experiences, particularly navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their mutual love for music, especially playing guitar together, further strengthened their bond. Throughout their friendship, Malu has consistently been a true friend—someone who brings happiness and positive energy to any situation.
GAVIN FRANKLYN - Groomsmen
Gavin and Jacob met in Korea, where they spent their days working on humvees in the motor pool and their nights chasing neon lights getting into all kinds of shenanigans. Through it all, Gavin was always the voice of reason and the steady hand we all needed when the rest of us were wild and reckless. He was the friend who kept us grounded, the brother who had our backs no matter what. A true example of loyalty, sensibility, and quiet strength, the kind of friend you’re lucky to find once in a lifetime.
HUNTER CULPEPPER - Groomsmen
Culpepper—my best bud from Fort Lee, Virginia. We pushed each other to the limit during our morning runs, always making sure neither of us quit even when we wanted to die. When we weren’t running, we were causing chaos in the barracks. Let’s just say, some of those stories are classified. He’s my guy, and I’m just glad the Mississippi tornadoes never got him—though I’m convinced they tried.
BRIDAL PARTY
ALYSSA WENTZ - Maid Of Honor
From the moment Alyssa and Mira met, they became instant best friends—as if the universe knew they were destined for a wild ride together. If only they’d known then just how many adventures, unforgettable memories, and a few questionable decisions were ahead. Not every plan went smoothly (as many great stories begin), but one thing was certain: they always had each other’s backs. Over the years, Mira helped Alyssa break out of her shell, while Alyssa may have kept Mira out of jail… once or twice. Though they now live on opposite sides of the country, their bond remains unshakable. Alyssa isn’t just Mira’s best friend—she’s her ying to Mira's yang, her partner in crime (figuratively, of course), and the sister she chose.
AMBER SCHONFELD - Bridesmaid
Amber—where do you even begin when describing her friendship with Mira? If their adventures were ever made into a book or movie, it would be filed under “comedy-drama” with a strong emphasis on unfiltered chaos and unbreakable loyalty. Their friendship spans over a decade and a half, making it one of the longest (and most eventful) in Mira’s life.
Together, they’ve shared unforgettable highs and weathered some of life’s toughest lows. During one of the hardest times—when Mira lost her stepmother to breast cancer—Amber showed up without hesitation, without needing to be asked. That’s just who she is: the kind of friend who senses your pain before you say a word, and shows up with open arms and probably snacks.
From late-night laughs to life's major milestones, Mira has countless cherished memories with Amber. Having her by her side on the wedding day isn’t just important—it’s essential. Because some moments in life just wouldn't be complete without your partner-in-crime there to witness (and probably commentate) on them.
CHRISTINA LATHAM - Bridesmaid
Instagram—probably not the place most people expect to find a lifelong best friend. But for Mira and Christina, that's exactly where their friendship story began. At the time, Christina was running a popular feature page (back when that was peak Instagram culture, pre-pandemic), and what started as an online connection quickly turned into something much more meaningful.
Early on, the two joined creative forces and launched a feature page with a twist: a handpicked team of models who perfectly fit their shared vision. What they didn’t expect was that this project would evolve into a tight-knit group of women who became lifelines for one another—and at the center of it all were Christina and Mira.
Christina has always been someone Mira could turn to, someone who offered understanding without judgment and advice without ego. When they finally met in person in Indiana, it felt less like a first meeting and more like a long-overdue reunion. Even with a few bumps along the way, their bond has remained unshakable.
Having Christina travel from Tampa to be part of Mira’s big day makes the occasion even more special. For Mira, it’s not just a reunion—it’s a celebration with one of her dearest, most trusted friends.
ERICA CARNAHAN - Bridesmaid
Erica and Mira’s friendship began years ago when Mira was asked to photograph Erica’s daughter for her first birthday—a sweet milestone that sparked one of Mira’s longest and most loyal friendships. Since then, the two have been nearly inseparable in spirit (or often with shopping aisles).
Bonded by their mutual love for thrifting—or more accurately, the thrill of scoring a fabulous find for next to nothing—they’ve made bargain hunting an art form. Their shared obsession with fashion spans everything from shoes and purses to makeup and skincare. If it sparkles or comes with a discount, chances are, they’ve talked about it.
When Erica and Mira are together, one thing is certain: they’ll be late. Not just fashionably late—more like operating in their own fabulous time zone. And of course, no outing is complete without a selfie (or five) and an impromptu mini photoshoot. After all, if there’s no photo evidence, did it even ever happen?
KAYLA NOAH - Bridesmaid
Kayla and Mira first became friends while working together as preschool teachers—a job that demands equal parts patience, energy, and the ability to laugh instead of cry. Without Kayla, Mira might have lost her mind once or twice (and the feeling was probably mutual). Kayla was always there to lend a hand, a listening ear, or to entertain one of Mira’s famously wild ideas.
Their friendship quickly extended beyond the classroom walls, and Kayla soon became a constant in Mira’s life—especially during some of her most challenging seasons. To Mira, Kayla is one of the strongest women she’s ever known—a trait she’s long admired. No matter what obstacles come her way, Kayla doesn’t just face them—she plows through and comes out the other side stronger, wiser, and somehow still smiling.
SUMMER JONES - Bridesmaid
Mira met Summer through Jacob, who had been friends with Summer for years before he and Mira started dating. It didn’t take long for Mira and Summer to hit it off—bonding over shared interests, similar life experiences, and, of course, their mutual love for their dogs. When Summer’s pup, Kona, had a litter, Mira knew she had to have one. What neither of them expected was that the tiny puppy would grow into an unexpectedly massive dog—let's just say, “lap dog” was a short-lived phase.
Despite the miles or months between visits, Mira and Summer have the kind of friendship that picks up exactly where it left off—no awkward catch-up needed, just instant connection, like no time has passed at all.
LISA MITCHELL - Bridesmaid
From the moment they met, Lisa—Jacob’s cousin—welcomed Mira like she was already part of the family. The two quickly bonded over their shared love of nature, modeling, and, of course, tattoos. While their ink styles couldn’t be more different, their personalities complement each other perfectly—like matching tattoos with wildly different fonts.
When Lisa decided to dive deeper into modeling, Mira was right there with a helping hand (and a few hard-earned industry secrets) from her time as a professional model. The fact that Lisa is traveling all the way from Alaska to stand by Mira’s side as part of her bridal party speaks volumes—and it means the world to Mira.
