Jacob and Kristin first met in the fall of 2018. Their friends had convinced them to join a kickball team. On this team, they would enjoy dollar drinks at the Hut. This is where they’d hear the sweet sounds of friends shouting out, “Tequila!?”. Through all of the fun, Jacob and Kristin became friends. This friendship led to Jacob asking Kristin to his holiday work party which led to Kristin having a great time as Jacob’s date. Neither is quite sure how it really happened, but one day Jacob came over to Kristin’s house and never really left. 

In what felt like a blink of an eye…Jacob and Kristin moved in with one another, met each other’s families, fell more in love, went on adventures, found another dog, braved grad school together, fell more in love, bought a house, went through quarantining, got Covid, went on some more adventures, and fell more in love.

So here they are… happily engaged and ready to be married. And to think, it only took dollar drinks on a Thursday night at the Hut❤️
