When is the RSVP Deadline
Please RSVP by August 25th, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Can I bring a date?
We allow everyone a plus one unless indicate differently during the RSVP process. Feel free to reach out and ask if there is any confusion.
Are kids welcome?
We want our wedding to be a joyful celebration for everyone and we plan to party into the night! So while your children are welcome to attend, We will have a few actives they can participate in but festivities are definitely geared towards adults. Regardless, please let us know if any little ones will be attending.
What will the weather be like?
Welcome to MICHIGAN, all of you out-of-towners! The weather here can be funny. Fall weather in Michigan can be on the cooler side, averaging 60-65 degrees, with the possibility for rain. Please bring some warm layers, we don't want anyone freezing their bu...well you get the point. ;)
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 20-30 minutes earlier then what is posted on your invitation. The Ceremony will start at 4pm. Any late arrivals will have to wait until after the processional is completed before they can take their seats. If you do expect to be late, please contact our coordinator to let them know at (616) 255-3341
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking in front of the building.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Yes.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outside (as long as weather permits) on the Holland Fish and Game Club grounds and the reception will be held in the North Building.
What should I wear?
We are asking for everyone to be in "Dressy Casual"
IE: No need to bust out the suit or tux but nicer than the t-shirt and jeans you wore to last months BBQ. ;)
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the ceremony?
We ask that everyone please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. There will be a 'Social Media Moment' that our officiant will announce. During that time we ask everyone to take as many pictures as they like, and put phones away after once the minute has ended. However, during the reception we would love for you to take photos and share them on FB, Instagram, ect. Don't forget to tag us ;)
Will there be an open or cash bar?
"Why not both?" lol But for real, we will be doing an open on the beer, wine, and signature drink, while any liquor will be cash bar. Just remember while some of the drinks are on us, all of the hangover is on you. lol
