In early May of 2022 Iliani had just graduated flight attendant training and was home after 6 long & hard weeks of training. Before she left for training, she deleted all of her dating apps (or so she thought she did) as she knew she was going to be embarking on a new journey. Upon her return home, she was going through her phone and realized she never deleted one app and there was a notification pending..... As we all know, curiosity killed the cat.... and she bit the bullet and opened the app. To her surprise a handsome man by the man of Jacob had swiped right on her profile, and she too slid right.....it was a MATCH!

Conversation flowed for quite some time as Iliani had a busy new schedule on her hands. But they spoke sun up to sun down everyday. On May 30, 2022 Iliani and Jacob met at a Longhorn Steakhouse in Portage, Indiana. A 2 hour drive or 30 min flight could not keep them apart... Their relationship flourished beautifully.

On February 24, 2024 before her big 30th birthday celebration, Jacob got down on one knee and asked Iliani to marry him in front of her loved ones. They could not be more excited for their big day and to share it with those they love most
