We went to some of the same schools growing up, but it wasn't until high school that we finally met each other and became close during our time in Criminal Justice class. Eventually, we dated, but it didn't last. We were very young, and both going through our own experiences. Fast forward a little over three years from when we kept in touch from time to time, I reached out to Jacob again. Meaning, I slid into his DMs hahaha. I told him I liked his new tattoo, and from there, we grew as friends again.

At this time, Jacob was in North Carolina, and I was in Maryland. We spent hours talking to each other on Facetime. When we finally met in person after communicating constantly through our phone screens, Jacob asked me to be his girlfriend, and we started our relationship as a long-distance couple. During my visit with Jacob to attend the Marine Corps Ball for the second time with him, he proposed. He took me on a dinner date where we got Hardee's and ice cream because chicken nuggets and ice cream are my absolute favorite. We then walked on the beach where he eventually led me to a walkway made with roses and a picnic at the end of it which had wine and strawberries. He got one knee and asked me to marry him. From there, we became FIANCES.
