Jake and Alicia knew each other growing up. They attended the same elementary and high school and they had many mutual friends. However, it wasn’t until April 2021 that their love story began. Alicia and Jake got to know each other through playing golf at Birchbank Golf Course with their friends. This led to them hanging out more and more until finally on June 9th, 2021 Jake asked Alicia out on a date. Three years later, Alicia was planning Jake’s golf scramble...It was a big event with many of their friends and families in attendance. The day was amazing and afterwards, while they were on the patio for lunch, Terry (Jake’s dad) decided to give a speech. Jake quickly took over and after he thanked his friends and family for being there he pulled Alicia to stand up with him and he got down on one knee and proposed to her! Excitement and tears filled the air.
