What is the dress code?
The dress code for our wedding will be cocktail attire.
Ladies, this means mini, midi or maxi dresses. Please no gowns, and steer clear of olive/moss green (and most obviously white)!
Fellas, this means suits or slacks and a button-up shirt. Tie and jacket are optional!
When should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP no later than Friday August 9th.
What time should I arrive to the venue?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm, with a cocktail hour & reception to follow. Please arrive at LEAST 15-20 minutes before the official start time so you can be settled before the proceedings!
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes! There is parking at Chisholm, but please try to carpool with other guests if you can.
Will the events be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception will all be outdoors at the vineyard. We highly suggest comfy shoes, and not to wear stilettos (so as not to aerate the grass)!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately we are not allowing extra guests. Plus ones are by invitation only. We want to keep our wedding intimate and celebrate with close family & friends. Please do not ask to bring anyone that was not invited. We hope you all are understanding of this!
Can I bring my kids?
Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only affair. We thought the parents might enjoy a night off as well! 😉
What type of food will be served?
We’ll be serving hors d’oeuvres and dinner brought to you by Blue Ridge Pizza Co! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions/allergies when you RSVP.
What kind of bar should I expect?
We will have an open bar with selections of wine, beer, and liquor, as well as NA drinks like soda, tea, & water.
Can I take pictures/video during the ceremony?
We have opted for an “unplugged” ceremony. Please refrain from using your phones during this time, and let our photographer Caleb work his magic!
What else can I do near Earlysville while I’m visiting for the weekend?
We highly recommend taking a ride through Skyline Drive or hiking in Shenandoah National Park, exploring the many other wineries, breweries, and distilleries along the Brew Ridge Trail, or checking out the city of Charlottesville!
