Jackie and Vinny both went to SUNY Geneseo for college starting in 2014. Over the next 4 years, they somehow avoided meeting each other until April of their senior year, even though they shared several mutual friends. When they finally met, Jackie and Vinny were inseparable for the last month of college.

Two weeks later, Jackie invited Vinny to her step-dad's surprise 50th birthday party where Vinny met several of Jackie's family members before they officially started dating. The next day, Vinny asked Jackie to be his girlfriend.

At the end of that summer, Jackie moved to Buffalo to start graduate school, while Vinny was living in Little Falls and working in Utica. Vinny took many 3 hour drives to Buffalo over the next year and half until he moved to Rochester in December of 2019.

Once Jackie graduated, she moved to Rochester, and her and Vinny finally got to live in the same place. After 5 years of dating, Vinny proposed to Jackie on September 29, 2023 while they were going for a walk on some hiking trails by their apartment complex, one of their favorite things to do together.

Jackie and Vinny have spent many years together, and recently bought their first house. They are so excited to start the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife.
