Enjoy al fresco dining waterside, explore a mix of charming boutiques and stylish shops, and experience a delightfully scaled village ambiance inviting you to stroll and discover creative details at every turn.
Crystal Cove is a favorite of ours! Take a stroll on the paved trail along the beautiful coast and reward yourself with a reservation at the famed Beachcomber Restaurant! For the more adventurous, take the hiking trail into the hills for some breathtaking views!
Laguna Beach is worth the visit! Laguna Beach Main Beaches have paved walking paths with cliff and ocean views, shopping, and restaurants. Grab a waterfront drink at the Deck, or see where we got engaged at Treasure Island Beach.
Need a last minute outfit for the big day? Fashion Island has you covered. The outdoor mall has everything that just couldn't fit in your luggage. If you need a shopping break, stop into Muldoon's Irish Pub for a perfectly poured Guinness.
Walk out to the end of the pier for miles of beach views. Take a stroll down the boardwalk for plenty of food and drink options. We love Dory Deli for a breakfast burrito and a mimosa (I suppose they have coffee too...)
Located right behind the Hyatt Regency, the Upper Newport Bay Nature Reserve is one of Southern California's largest undeveloped wetlands. Explore the Mountain to the Sea trail on foot or utilize the complimentary bike rentals from the Hyatt if you're looking to put some serious miles on along the bluffs.
Tired of looking at the water from land? Get out on the harbor with a Duffy Boat! There are multiple rental companies along the harbor to rent from, but take a look at Duffy Electric Boats Sales and Rentals Newport Beach (PCH) or Pacific Electric Boat Rentals, both within a mile of the hotel. Cruise around on a self-guided tour for 2, 3, or 4 hours!
