Our Wedding

Jacquela and Donte met on social media in 2021. The initial meeting did not create sparks and they eventually lost contact. Jacquela left such an impression on Donte that he couldn't forget about her and contacted her again in 2023. Their interactions and conversations kept them laughing and enjoying each other's company. After a few months, he asked that all important question "Will you be my Girlfriend? Yes or No"...LOL!!! I happily said yes and we continued to learn each other and see who we were in good and bad. We both had a lot of trauma from past relationships, but we shared our heart's desire for what we wanted for the rest of our lives and our goals for making a difference in this world. He asked that I give him three things, love, faith, and trust. Both of us have a rough emotional exterior, but we fell in love with each other's heart and CHOSE each other. We made a conscious decision to CHOOSE EACH other everyday and for the rest of our lives. Since we decided to make that choice we have been through our ups and downs and getting an understanding of the things that were acceptable and not for OUR relationship. Despite ourselves and the things that we don't care about in each other (keeping it 100%), we have a connection that gives us what we NEED in each other that we didn't even know we needed, but now don't want to live without. So, here we are continuing to make a conscious decision to choose ourselves and each other as we embark on the rest of this journey together called life.

OUR CHOICE
