Q + A

When should I arrive?

The ceremony starts at 3:00, we’re asking everyone to please arrive at 2:30.

What is the dress code?

We’re a very casual couple. Which means, we don’t expect our guests to wear suits and ties. Your best jeans, boots and a button down shirt for the men and for the women a sundress or dress pants and a nice shirt!

Can I bring my kids?

While we love your kids, invitations will be specific and include the names of the children who have been invited. However, we do encourage you to use this evening as a fun “night out” for yourselves.

Will the wedding be outside?

Yes, the ceremony will take place outside, weather permitting. Please dress accordingly and make sure to check weather conditions, leading up to the event. Additionally, please keep in mind, the venue primarily has grass and gravel terrain.

Is the venue handicapped accessible?

YES. The venue is all on one level. There is a hard surface within the reception area. Although the ceremony takes place outdoors, should you require assistance getting to the ceremony site, the venue has a golf cart that will take you to the ceremony and then to the reception.

When should I RSVP by?

We are asking all guests to RSVP by August 17th. If we don’t hear from you by August 17th, you will be marked down as not attending.

Can I bring a plus one?

The short answer is no. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate plus ones, unless it is specifically indicated on your invitation. We want to keep our wedding intimate with our closest family and friends.

Can I BYOB?

NO. Our venue prohibits any guests bringing any alcohol to the wedding. There will be plenty of alcohol at the reception for the guests.

Where will be the ceremony and reception be held at?

The ceremony will be held outside of the venue. No need to travel in between. The reception then takes place indoors on the same property.

What if I am late to the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. We are asking guests to arrived by 2:30, 2:45 at the absolute latest. We hope you arrive early enough to mingle and find seats. Should you happen to be late arriving for the ceremony, please do NOT walk down the aisle to find a seat. If you stay to the outside areas of the seating, there may be other seats available or standing room. Please be mindful of the photographer as well.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there is guest parking available on site. Although we do recommend carpooling as much as possible to prevent overcrowding as we have a larger guest list.

Will there be alcohol and what should I do about driving?

Yes, we will be providing an open bar! However, we DO NOT want anyone to be drinking and driving. Therefore, the venue will allow you to leave your car on property overnight, they just ask that you return and pick up your vehicle within an appropriate amount of time. We recommend using ride share apps (Lyft or Uber) for transportation from the venue if you plan on enjoying alcoholic beverages. Otherwise, please know who your DD will be before you start drinking!

Can we take our own photos or videos of the ceremony?

We are kindly asking all guests to “disconnect” from their devices during the ceremony and be present with us in the moment. Leave the photography up to the professionals and help us enjoy our day. After an announcement is made, you may use your devices again as desired to take photos or videos.
