Q + A

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We would love to see our family & friends dressed up, so black tie is preferred! Men are not required to wear a tuxedo, a dark suit is acceptable. Women are encouraged to wear a mid to floor-length dress. Please do your best to avoid the colors gold & champagne.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 PM. Please plan to arrive between 5:15 - 5:30 PM. Transportation from the Marriott will be at 5:15 PM & 5:30 PM. Guests will be greeted with champagne upon arrival before the ceremony begins.

Can I bring a plus one?

We will only be accommodating those listed on your specific invitation. Thank you for understanding!

When Should I RSVP?

Please mail in your RSVP card on or before August 24th, 2024. Please be mindful of mailing as we will not be having online RSVPing

Are children welcome?

Although we adore your children, we have decided to limit our ceremony & reception to children of immediate family & children in our wedding party. If you are traveling with children, we ask that you kindly make arrangement for their care during the wedding.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Yes! Shadowbrook has a large, private parking lot available to all guests within walking distance of the entrance. We also would like to remind our guests not to drink & drive, so please plan accordingly!

Will there be any food/snacks for after the wedding?

In the grand hallway before leaving our guests will be served warm & fresh homemade donuts & gelato!

Is the ceremony indoor or outdoor?

Our ceremony will be indoors. The ceremony space gives us the option of opening the windows on the side, which we may decide to do if weather permits. The ceremony space will be heated should there be inclement weather.

Is the wedding open bar?

We wouldn’t have our wedding any other way

Is the ceremony unplugged?

No! (But please put your phone on do not disturb during the ceremony!) We want our guests to take as many pictures & videos as possible, but we kindly ask that you do not put your phone in the middle of the aisle as we have a professional photographer taking photos.
