Our Wedding

Our wedding will take place on our little farm near Leksand, Dalarna. We would love if you can join us for what we hope will be a lovely summers day celebrating our marriage!

Wedding Day

June 18, 2022

3:00 PM–10:30 PM

Attire: Summer Casual - Semi formal (wear anything you are comfortable in, including Folkdräkt, dresses, suits, or no suits, ties or no ties!)

We plan to marry in the forest (about a 10 min walk from the barn up a hill). Please wear closed toe shoes you are comfortable walking in - we do not recommend heels!

Midsommar Eve Celebrations

If you are travelling from afar we would love for you to stay for the week to celebrate Midsommar with us. Leksand has the (traditionally) biggest Midsommar celebration in Sweden!

Travel and Accomodation

For all of our Australian guests who have travelled so far already, we will be able to either accommodate you in one of our cabins, or organise you a place to stay with our family and friends.

For our guests already in Sweden there are close by accommodation options in Sjugare, Leksand and Tällberg.

For our Swedish guests - please RSVP to Axel or Jacqui before the the 14th of May 2022.

Parking

If you are driving please park your car on Bodlindor Bodlindorgattu (near number 10) in the parking area between the recycling bins and the lake.

LIVE STREAM + AUSSIE CELEBRATIONS

If you can't make it to our wedding in Sweden, never fear, we will be heading down-under as soon as we are allowed. There we will put on a wedding party of some sort to celebrate with you. Details TBA!

We will also set up a live stream of our wedding for anyone who would like to take a peek but can't make it!
