da Toni is a MUST for us every time we visit Ensenada. Fantastic Mexican inspired Italian food with a cozy atmosphere. You are required to order an espresso martini here, sorry we don't make the rules. Just don't call anything a sauce and da Toni himself will spare you.
Anthony Bourdain's favorite street food cart. Do I need to say more? You will find fresh seafood tostadas here and Jackie's favorite: ceviche in a clam shell. Sabina has a restaurant just across the street from the actual cart, so choose your fighter: a quick tostada or a full menu with amazing drinks. You may even have Sabina herself serve you! A humble queen. Don't forget to bring home a jar (or two!) of salsa!
Muelle 3 (tres) is a great lunch spot with fresh seafood and nicely paired wine. Try the steamed clams and sashimi! A perfect place to practice your aquatic sea life/dining in a restaurant lessons from Duolingo!
An oldie but a goodie. If getting thrown upside down by two strangers who claim they're bartenders to take a shot is your thing, then go off! Party! Just show up to our wedding revived please.
We have never been here but every time we drive past, it looks like so much fun. It's a container park that houses a bunch of food vendors and areas to grab a drink. If you end up visiting please give us your review!
CHEESE GROMIT! A sweet little cheese store with a great selection of imported and locally made cheeses as well as a great selection of wine. Sample everything! They also have freshly baked bread, a ton of jams, marmalades, honey, and other spreads you can pair well with on a charcuterie board. Keep in mind measurements are in the metric system, thanks a lot American education.
Visit where we got engaged! A beautiful resort with amazing wine. The restaurant serves quality food and nightlife comes alive with their live band performances.
LISTEN... there are these pharmacies EVERYWHERE. All I will say is that they may or may not sell tretinoin for less than $5 for all you skincare gurus out there. Dr. Simi also makes appearances at most pharmacies! Stop to say hello and take a quick pic, he is a Mexican icon after all.
