Most of you probably know the highlights.
Bryan and Jackie worked at Madwire in Fort Collins. Jackie was a writer on one team, and her roommate Ginny (also our officiant!), was a writer on a different team—the same one as Bryan. Ginny invited Jackie to a dessert party for her team, and that's where Jackie and Bryan met. Of course, we did not fall in love on this day.
Instead, we started chatting with each other about music during the workday. Fast forward a few months, and we were going to concerts and breweries together whenever possible.
On September 6, 2017 (exactly eight years before our future wedding day), Jackie realized she was being stupid and told Bryan she was ready to be in an official relationship. He agreed, but he still likes to remind her that she cut it down to the wire.
Over the past 7 years, the two of us have done a lot. We got new jobs. We adopted a dog (Porter). We moved to Tulsa, OK and bought our first house. We saw John Mayer in concert. We adopted two kitties (Vesper and Sazerac—can you tell we like booze?). Jackie won stein-hoist competitions. Bryan won a 30under30 award. We've gotten many MORE jobs and moved back to Colorado where it all began. PHEW!
Anyway, thank you all for being along for the ride. We can't wait to celebrate with you this coming September, and we are WELL AWARE that we wouldn't be the happy pair we are today without all your support over the years.
