Jacqueline and John’s love story began at a New Year’s Eve party in California where the two of them couldn’t help but smile at one another as the clock struck twelve. After a few days of small talk, John finally mustered up the courage to ask Jacqueline out on a date.

On January 4th, John and Jacqueline set out to Newport Beach to “test out the waters" since John knew that Jacqueline’s favourite place to be is near the ocean. The date went as great as could be and the conversation flowed for nearly 10 hours as they hopped from lunch, to the beach, then a hike, and a dinner finale at none other than in-n-out. From here on out, the two decided to pursue their relationship further.

Before John left to go back to Canada, John and Jacqueline committed to a long distance relationship as they knew letting each other go after his visit was not an option. So, once John returned to Canada and they made the distance work with endless facetime dates, shared book readings, and long phone calls. While being apart meant that John wasn’t able to take Jacqueline on as many romantic dates, his phone bills surely made up for the missed expense. But, he was happy to spend his time learning more about Jacqueline and seeing her smile every day.

With each passing day, John and Jacqueline cemented their relationship and continued to fall more in love with each other. Without a doubt in his mind, John decided to take the leap of faith and move to California to be closer to Jacqueline. Since then, they have never looked back and the couple couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of their lives devoted to each other in marriage.

To our family and friends, we know that the foundation of our relationship is all thanks to God and to your endless prayers and support along the way. We feel so blessed and can't thank you enough for keeping us in your prayers as we begin our lives together.
