So this is our story... we met in Old Bridge working for OBTEMS in 2019. Evan was Jackie's "FTO" for her first day. Things weren't hitting off right away and soon Evan left OBTEMS to go work at the Port Authority. While trying to clean out Jackie's grandpa's house, Evan was willing to come over and help. Their friendship began and so did the daily memes and snap chat "streaks".

One day before going to work a joke of hanging out turned into reality and we finally hung out after work. We would eventually have our first kiss that night and start a relationship. This relationship led to many adventures. The adventures included Mets games, NYC Christmas tree visits, Rangers games, water adventures, Florida trips, winery trips and even country concerts.

We spent almost everyday together. COVID would cause us to take some time apart due to quarantining but still constant communication and the few days in between made seeing each other even better.

We would eventually adopt a little kitten named Cow. When we got this cat, Evan was a big "we don't need another cat (besides Patches)". When he held this kitten, who was the size of your palm, he fell in love and became a cat dad. We would raise this kitten into a "chonk" of a cat. These cats always look forward to Evan coming home every night and eventually Patches (who doesn't like anyone besides Jackie) would become best friends with Evan.

After going through the rough market, we eventually bought a house in September 2021. We moved our little family down to Hamilton.

On February 12, 2022, at Evan's 30th birthday, he would do something that continued to change their lives. Evan, in front of both friends and family, proposed to Jackie. The response of "sure" was given and now a wedding is to be planned!! (Oh, and surprise....we got another cat, but that's a story for another day).
