Unfortunately, we can only accommodate a certain number of guests. If you have been allotted a plus one, your invitation will state “____ and Guest" or already have your guest's name on it.

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be able to accommodate any children.

Yes! Your invitation will ask you to specify any dietary requests or allergies. Our dinner will be held buffet style with plenty of options for everyone; however, we’d like to make the venue aware of your needs.

Our reception will end at 9:30pm and those that would like to continue to party can join us at Shawnee’s brewery (on site) from 10pm-12am.

During our ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos. We have AMAZING photographers and will share our photos and videos with everyone. You are more than welcome to take as many photos or videos as you’d like during cocktail hour, the reception, and the after party.

Yes, there is free parking on-site at Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort.

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside and the reception will be inside.

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at Shawnee Inn. Please CALL 570-424-4000 and reference the Schadas/Burdette wedding to receive the discounted rate. If you choose to stay at Shawnee with us, there is a two-night minimum. Reservations must be made by September 17, 2024. There are also other nearby hotels that we have added to the Accommodations page of this website. We do not have blocks set up, but you will be able to stay only one night at any of them. They are all within 10-15 minutes of Shawnee Inn.

Unfortunately, if you do not choose to stay at Shawnee Inn, we are unable to provide transportation. Ubers are readily available in the Poconos for those who do not wish to drive to and from their hotel to the venue.

We ask that you wear formal attire such as a cocktail or floor-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers.
