They say don't date where you work, but if you never try, you'll never know. You could be missing out on someone or something great!

Ryan and I met while working in the Emergency Department at Mass General Hospital; myself a nurse, and he, an MGH Police and Security officer. After much convincing from my best friend, coworker, and bridesmaid Shannon, the two of us went on a date and the rest is history. After giving him a hard time, (imagine that?!), we began our long-distance relationship between South Boston and Bridgewater. After a few years of individual and mutual growth, a home, and many adventures in between, here we are about to embark on the best one yet in Aruba!

We began dating just prior to the pandemic and were able to support each other through an extremely difficult time working on the frontlines. He began his career with the Bridgewater Police Department, as a cadet, and a few short months later began the Police Academy. I continued working in the Emergency Department at MGH and took on Graduate school to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Despite the traditional "engagement" prior to owning a house together, Ryan and I decided to forgo tradition for what we knew in our hearts was the right decision. We bought our first home and have been living in Bridgewater for almost 2 years!

On September 30, 2022, Ryan proposed at one of our favorite places in Lincoln, NH, Seven Birches Winery., a part of Riverwalk Resort. From when we began dating to now, we have always talked about a destination wedding, and are so happy to finally see it become a reality. We're so excited and cannot wait to celebrate!
