We were so blessed to have the expertise and talent of Jordan Webster (Joe's younger sister) for our announcement photos. From curling hair, to carrying way too many plastic grocery bags full of stuff on random trails, and nearly getting attacked by an army of fire ants, Jordan helped bring our fairytale pics to life!

In April of 2023, we took a trip out West together. The trip was centered around attending a day-long event called the "Bronco Off-Rodeo," during which we learned to drive Ford Broncos over giant boulders, mud, sand, and nearly any obstacle we encountered.

The two-week long, multi-state adventure really began when we narrowly escaped a severe tornado near St. Louis, MO. As several cars flew past us on the interstate going over 100 mph, we made the great life choice to park our rental SUV under an overpass and munch on string cheese and meat sticks until the weather was deemed safe.

What followed was the trip of a lifetime and also a surprise proposal! Joe picked the perfect backdrop: the majestic quiet and stillness atop the Colorado National Monument, as snow billowed down around us.
