Jackie and Tommy met during the Southside bar crawl at The University of Iowa in April 2017. It was one of Jackies last weekends in college and Tommy made a surprise visit for his Washtenaw gal, Mary Kate Daniher, also Jackies roommate. Tommy loved Jackies DJ skills at the after party and her rejection of giving him a Calabria beef sandwich...it was love at first site.


Fast forward 1 year later, May 2018, Jackie ran into Tommy at good ole Brewbakers. A few drinks in (wink wink), Jackie expressed her interest in Tommy to her friend. With no hopes of him ever liking her, Jackie received a text from Tommy during the Washtenaw block party, a few months later, to hang out and that he was interested in her too. Jackie and Tommy began dating shortly after this and fell in love, especially when Tommy let Jackie beat him in skee ball on their first date at Headquarters Beercade. They realized they shared the same interests: family, friends, trying new restaurants in the city, playing sports, dancing, the list can go on.


On November 2, 2018, Tommy (finally) asked Jackie to be his girlfriend and the rest was history. They went on to be in each others lives by hanging out with family and friends, planning trips together like Boston and Scottsdale, trying every restaurant in Chicago and eventually moving in together in Wicker Park.


Fast forward 5 & 1/2 years later, on May 4. 2024, Tommy got down on one knee and proposed to Jackie on the Chicago lakefront trail with family and friends to celebrate afterwards. And now, they are extremely excited to share their love with all of you on October 25, 2025!
