We met when I was 22 and Doug was 23. We both had loved to go to the bar Howl at the Moon with our friends to have fun enjoy some drinks. Until one day I saw her from across the room and suddenly it was as if time was standing still . He was so handsome I could not stop checking to see if he was still looking at me, I still remember the butterflies. Finally, he got the courage to come over and ask me my name, we ended up talking till the place closed . Than we had our 1st date, 2nd date, and now going to be celebrating our 5 year anniversary in March...the rest is history.

I planned it perfectly, it all took place on Jan 18, 2015. I had one of her best friends invite her to Howl at the Moon to have some fun like old times. I made sure to tell her that I would not be going and she can enjoy her time with her friends. Meanwhile I was texting our families to invite then and giving them the plan for the night. I had the live band call her on stage so that I could propose in front of the entire bar that was packed by the time I did it. I got on stage and got down on one knee and asked her if she would marry me?....yes she was completely surprised and I think a little embarrassed... but she said YES! The bar cheered and clapped and as I guided her off stage our families were there waiting to greet and congratulate us. We were blessed to have everyone;s support and love for such a special day to us. He got me so good, I had no idea that he would ever do somthing that amazing. I felt so loved and special, it was the best thing he has ever done for me and I will forever remember it. We got to share it with the people we love most and our biggest supporters.
