Our Wedding

In early January 2019, Jacquelynne and Devin met the old-fashioned way, online. After initial negotiations, they set a first date at their now-favorite sushi restaurant Seito. Devin knew the way to Jacquelynne's heart early on. However, only a few hours before the date, Devin was offered Magic tickets for that same night (shout out to Ray Herod). Jacquelynne agreed to audible, despite the last-minute notice. As Devin affectionately says, after that point "she never left". Fast forward to the weeks leading up to their one year anniversary, and Jacquelynne was asking Devin whether he had made any plans, to which he too casually responded "oh yea, of course". After asking several times, and receiving no definite plans, Jacquelynne grew concerned as she of course needed time to plan her wardrobe. Little did she know, a plan had been in the works for quite some time. The Sunday before the anniversary, he told Jacquelynne that she would need a "cocktail dress" for the weekend, but provided no other details (and apparently not enough notice for such a purchase). Finally, the Friday of the anniversary weekend, Devin "revealed" the surprise - a weekend at the Four Seasons Resort at their favorite spot, and the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World. Jacquelynne had no idea that the surprises would not end there. On January 31, 2020, exactly one year from their first date, after issues with inclement weather and a stubborn future-fiancée, Devin popped the question at the resort. The surprise wrapped in a surprise - surpriseception. Jacquelynne's initial response was "are you serious!?", followed by a definite "yes!" (shout out to K-Rob for facilitating the ring purchase and weekend reservations). Less than two months after the engagement, the couple found themselves living and working from home together. Every. Day. Talk about really testing a relationship. To bring some joy to the home office, Devin surprised Jacquelynne yet again, this time bringing Wilber (aka Wilby) down from PA to complete the family. (shout out to Dennis, Operation K-9 was a success) Although the wedding planning was temporarily halted, then delayed, the couple is excited to finally celebrate with you at the Howey Mansion on January 14, 2023!!! (statistically the coldest weekend of the year) We will see you there, or we will see you on another time!

Room Block

We have booked a Room Block at Mission Inn, which is across the street from the venue. The block is under "Magan/Esposito Wedding Weekend", and is open from Thursday, January 12, 2023, through Monday, January 16, 2023. The rates and room options are as follows: Standard:$179.00 European Plan (room only) per room, per night plus resort fee and 11% tax. Room rates pre and post are based on availability. Currently all rates are subject to 7% state sales tax and accommodations are subject to an additional 4% local tax. Suites:$ 239.00 per suite, Club Suite$ 325.00 per suite, One-Bedroom Suite$ 550.00 per suite, Two-Bedroom Suite$ 875.00 per suite, Three-Bedroom Penthouse Suite Resort Fee:Mission Inn Resort charges a daily resort fee of $25.00 plus tax, per room, per night. It covers a myriad of hotel services and activities while at the Resort or Villas (including surface parking, electric charging station, in-room Wi-Fi internet, Keurig single serve coffee/tea, fitness center, business center / computer, spa and golf merchandise discounts, complimentary laundry facility, on-site transportation, marina docking privileges, seasonal golf clinics and more). Reservation Method:As reservations will be made on an individual basis, please call Mission Inn's Reservations Department at 1-800-874-9053 by the cut-off date of December 13, 2022, subject to block capacity. A deposit will be required at the time of reservation, with the amount dependent upon the type of room reserved. After the cut-off date, all unsold rooms from the original block will be released for resale, and reservations will be on a space available basis at the prevailing retail rate. All individual deposits are refundable with written or faxed notice of cancellation received 72 hours prior to the group’s arrival date. Special requests for location and bedding type cannot be guaranteed. Other Pertinent Information:Check-in time is 4:00 PM.Check-out time is 11:00 AM.No pets allowed.
