Our Wedding

Dillon knew he wanted to propose to Jacy in this exact spot ever since he first stood here in August of 2024. For a year, he waited, planned, and prepped to take Jacy to Beartooth Pass in Montana to fulfill his vision of asking Jacy to be his wife with this view staring back at them. They rode Dillons bike from Topeka to Montana for this exact moment. They rode for hours through this beautiful mountain range, climbing curvy mountain roads with the most stunning view. Finally, after searching for hours, and even backtracking, they found the lookout spot Dillon had been thinking about for the last year. They pulled in, parked the bike, and Dillon pressed play on the GoPro video camera he had mounted to the front of his bike. The couple took some pictures of the scenery, took some selfies, and stood together while they soaked up the view. Dillon told Jacy that this spot was the most beautiful place hed ever been, how happy he was to bring her here, and told her that her being there with him made it even more beautiful. According to Dillon, he was, waiting for the perfect opportunity to present itself. Later on, he said he knew he would know when it was the perfect moment. Well, as God designed, A few moments later a group of about 20 male bikers pulled up next to the couple and the men asked Jacy and Dillon to take some photos of them all. The couple took their photo and I guess this action is what led a particular man to offer his help a few minutes later when he saw Dillon and Jacy taking some selfies on Dillons phone. The man offered to take a picture for the couple and thats when Dillon told the man to take a lot of photos. To everyone elses surprise, Dillon had been recording the entire time on his GoPro camera so when the man started snapping pictures, Dillon knew this was his perfect moment he had been waiting for. With the video camera rolling, the phone snapping photos and with two dozen men and the most beautiful mountains in Montana as witnesses, Dillon asked Jacy to marry him. She said yes. And spoiler: they live happily ever after.

Alex is the brides cousin and best friends for 23+ years.

Elayna is Dillon's youngest sister, she's also Colters Godmother! And, obviously, one of Jacy's favorite people.

Alyssa and Jacy have known each other most of their lives, they grew up together in Marysville. They were best friends throughout high school and remain best friends to this day.

Emily is Jacy's big sister. 2nd mom. Jacy won't do anything cool without her big sister being there to see it so it's only right.

Dalton is Dillon's cousin and closest counsel. Dalton is also Colters Godfather.

Ethan and Dillon have been close friends throughout school and into their adult lives.

Dennis and Dillon have been friends for several years from childhood into adult lives.

Austin has been friends with Dillon and Jacy for several years. The three of them served together in the National Guard for several years and have remained good friends outside of their service.

This is Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where the Ceremony will be held. There is lots of parking. Directly across the street (to the west) is the closest parking, then to the south there is plenty of parking lots around the school/campus area.

Ceremony Location 

This is the Reception Location, the Northeast Kansas Heritage Complex. This event center is outside of Holton, Kansas. Following the Ceremony, guests should head to this location and enjoy cocktail hour while awaiting the wedding parties arrival. Reception will be indoors. Remember, the reception is BYOB, so remember to bring your personal favorites for the evening, Beer and liquor allowed.
