Our Wedding

Travis and Jada met at the end of the rodeo dance in April of 2019. Jada noticed Travis when he danced with her sister and sister in-law and flipped them both during their dances. She thought that was pretty cool so at the end of the night she was leaving with her sister who spotted Travis and said “hey that’s the guy that flipped us.” Travis heard her say that and stopped in his tracks as he was the only one on the dance floor flipping people, and all of a sudden Jada stomped over to him and stated while poking him in the chest (thanks to liquid courage) “you danced with both my sisters tonight but you didn’t dance with me. Why? I was standing right there.” Travis, being the gentleman that he is, apologized to Jada saying he didn’t see her, and proceeded to take his phone out of his pocket, put a song on, and danced with her in the middle of the parking lot. Jada and Travis exchanged Snapchat’s that night and agreed to meet up the following night at the second rodeo dance and they haven’t been apart since. Travis proposed to Jada in January of 2023, on what seemed to be the coldest day of that winter. He took her ice fishing at a very special lake - Cowan, along with a really great friend of theirs - Jesse Cadrain, who got the whole proposal on video, as well as Jada catching a perch in the beginning. She of course said YES !

Austin and Travis have been friends for over 10 years and have shared many life events together. Some fun, others scary.. but mostly stupid.  Austin is a an outstanding man and an even better friend. He will give the shirt off his back to help you, and always find a way to make you laugh. Austin has given Travis's grad speech and will be there to give his wedding speech.

Britney is Jada's older sister and someone she has always gone to for guidance and support. She's the kind of person who's down for anything and everything but also someone who has encouraged Jada to be the very best version of herself. It's always fun and games with each other, laughing so hard, until they've spent even one second too long together and are immediately at each others throats.

Brandon is Travis's younger brother. He has a twisted sense of humor and doesn't take anyone's bullshit. Brandon is a very honest, dependable and caring guy.  He is always there to help, from moving heavy furniture, to giving great advice. Brandon is there for his brother and family.

Brandon Burgess

Adriana is Travis's little sister, though it didn't take long for her and Jada to connect and call each other sisters as well. They share many hobbies and enjoy learning new things from one another. It's not very often either of them will say no to a day of fishing together.

Steven is one of Travis's closest friends. They have the type of friendship where even though they don't get to see each other too often, they pick up like no time has passed. All they need is a couple beers and Paradise by the dashboard lights and they could solve the worlds problems.

Tiana and Jada met a little over 3 years ago and it did not take long for them to get close. When these two get together there is always more laughing than there is talking and at the end of their visits their cups are always full and overflowing. Travis calls them crackheads when they get together.
