Our Wedding

Jade and Presley first met twelve years ago while attending Clio Middle School when their lockers were assigned next to one another. Funnily enough, when they entered high school the next year, Jade didn’t even recognize Presley! He had grown so much over the summer that when he sat next to her in class, she had no idea who he was. This is still one of their funniest memories together, especially considering where life would take them. Jades first impression of Presley would describe him as intoxicatingly hilarious, quick-witted, and charmingly handsome. Presley would describe Jade as beautiful, humorous, and lovable. These are qualities they still deeply admire about one another to this day. Throughout high school they became best friends. There had always been an undeniable cosmic pull that kept them in one another’s life, but their mutual friend group kept them close after school! After graduating in 2013, Jade and Presley had their official first date ( about time!!). The evening was spent (not so romantically) at Applebees, granted, for two broke 19 year olds that was the best their small town had to offer. Nonetheless, the two spent the entire date laughing and “ the rest was history”. Since their first date 8 years ago they’ve experienced many of life’s hills and valleys by each other’s side. Some of their most cherished memories being : sharing their very first homes together where they welcomed their sweet pets, late-night binges of their comfort show “ Friends”, becoming a part of each other’s families, supporting one another as they began their dream careers, and their many adventures to the U.P. Presley proposed in May at Brys Estate Vineyard which happens to be at one of their favorite vacation spots, Traverse City! Being that it was just the two of them, the moment was intimate, private, and perfect in their eyes. They both cried like babies and mark the day as one of their best , so far! We are immensely excited to exchange vows and promise forever in front of our closest friends and family. October 22 2022 can’t come soon enough!!

The Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport is approximately 53 minutes from Indian Springs Metropark.   

Nearest Airport 

There are motels much closer to Indian Springs Metropark, however The Comfort Inn and Suites is where we have 15 rooms blocked for Saturday the 22nd. An additional two rooms are booked for Friday the 21st.
