Q: Where do we go for Wedding Festivities?

A: The Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour & Reception are all at the same venue, The Transept. All of the address details are on the home page.

Q: Where should we stay if we are travelling from out of town?

A: All recommended accommodations are on the Guest Accommodations Page. If you plan to stay in our hotel block, please book a room prior to 30 days before the wedding to receive the discounted rate at the Hilton Netherland Plaza.

Q: How do I get around the city?

A: Take the Street Car if you are coming early (it's free)! Almost all of our recommended Things To Do can be navigated to along the street car or on foot. If you are staying at the Hilton Netherland Plaza, there will be a shuttle provided the day of the wedding to get to and from The Transept.

Q: Where should I park if I'm driving to the ceremony/reception?

A: There is parking garage located directly across the street from the Transept, located under Washington Park. There are also independent lots in the surrounding area that are usually available for parking as well.

Q: When is the RSVP deadline?

A: Deadline to RSVP is November 10, 2021. Please RSVP through the tab on the website.

Q: What time should we arrive?

A: The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm, but the venue is open for guests to arrive an hour before.

Q: Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?

A: We would prefer that you have your phones away during the ceremony and save the photos for the cocktail hour & reception.

Q: What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?

A: When you RSVP for the wedding, you will be given the meal preference option. We will be having Duet Plates that include the Chicken Milanese & Braised Beef Shortrib OR the vegetarian option, a Roasted Vegetable & Manchego Cheese Tart with Red Pepper Pesto. If you have a child attending in your family, there will be a kid’s meal option. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions otherwise, please let us know beforehand and we will accommodate your needs.
