In 2016, a twist of fate led Justise to transfer from UNI to Missouri Southern State, where he and Jade first crossed paths on the track. Though they initially only caught glimpses of each other, their encounter was memorable. One day, while the track team was working at a high school cross-country meet, Justise arrived late and snuck in through the back door—only Jade noticed. He asked her if he should request to leave early, to which Jade responded that the coach was already in a mood and suggested he slip out before anyone noticed he was even there. Justise left ; His first nephew, Hendrix was born that day. Their paths didn’t cross again until 2019. One autumn day, while Jade was relaxing in her Kansas City apartment, she stumbled upon Justise’s dating profile. To her surprise, he was listed as just .2 miles away—he had moved a few blocks away only 48 hours earlier. That evening, they met up and took the streetcar to the Power and Light District, where they walked and talked hand in hand, as if they had known each other forever. Their first date unexpectedly turned into a four-day adventure. Over the next three years, their connection blossomed from a deep friendship into a love neither had anticipated. In 2021, Jade and Justise packed up their life in Kansas City and moved to Hawaii, where their love has continued to flourish.

Please Note A shuttle van will be picking ALL guests up at this hotel. If you would like to stay elsewhere, no worries, we just ask that you arrive at the Home2 suites before 2:00 pm Friday, April 18th, to join the shuttle.   The Venue has no guest parking.

Jade and Justise will kick off their Matrimonial festivities by privately sharing their vows with one another here, on this colorful landscape over looking the pacific. Point Buchon Trail offers some of the most scenic views of the Central Coast coastline, perfectly preserved and protected. The trail is a 6.6 mile roundtrip hike located on the northern end of PG&amp;E property and is accessed through Montaña de Oro State Park. (there are shorter routes on this trail) This scenic coastal trail has been open to the public since 2007 and is known for its panoramic views of beautiful headlands and off-shore sea stacks. You don't need to reserve a hiking time at Point Buchon Trail, but you do need to check in and out at the entry station.&nbsp;The trail is located on private property, so you'll need to sign in and out

Shell Creek Road has a well-deserved reputation for being one of the best spots to view glorious displays of&nbsp;springtime wild flowers&nbsp;in Central California.

The Bruce Munro Field of Lights is an art exhibit like no other. Thousands of tiny lights cover acres of the rolling hill wine country. As if the gnarled oaks silhouetted against the setting sun are not enough on their own, when the natural light winds down, the lights on the hills come up. This is about 15 miles from the hotel.&nbsp;

William Randolph Hearst was wealthy and eccentric, but he also had a vision. The bus ride up to the castle alone is worth the price of a ticket because of the stunning views. But the castle itself is a treasure for sure. This is about a 40 minute drive from the hotel.&nbsp;
