While we deeply value and appreciate your children, we’ve made our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of those in the wedding party. Thank you for understanding!

Our Wedding

It all started with tea. 

It all started when we met on Hinge in October 2021! We texted back and forth for a few weeks, getting to know each other more. On Sunday, November 8, we went on our first date at Cafe Nero and both ordered tea. That's when Jade learned Rich doesn't drink coffee... first red flag (JUST KIDDING!) Our second date, we went to Mad Monkfish in Cambridge for sushi and jazz. It's now one of our favorite restaurants of all time. Our third date, Rich cooked risotto for Jade, and we had a jam session and sang some jazz and rock hits together with Rich on the drums. Thanksgiving rolled around, and Jade was exposed to COVID, so she was quaratnied all alone at home. She will never forget when Rich FaceTimed her on Thanksgiving Day to keep her company while he was on Martha's Vineyard with his family. Our fourth date, Rich took Jade to see the Holiday Pops Concert with the Boston Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Hall. It was a special night, as we got to ring in Rich's 29th birthday together at midnight! We continued our adventures into 2022, traveling to Martha's Vineyard together for the first time in April, and then with Rich and his family in June for the annual Killians take Martha's Vineyard trip! We traveled to New York City, Portsmouth, NH that year as well, but our favorite trip was when we went to the Berkshires together for the first time. On a whim, we went to see James Taylor perform at Tanglewood Music Center. It was our first time to Tanglewood, and we fell in love! Fast forward to July of 2023, Jade joined the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and traveled to Tanglewood to perform with TFC later that summer. Rich and his family (Barbara, Jeff, Aunt Jane, Aunt Eileen and Uncle Pat) all come out to see Jade perform! It was our second time in the Berkshires together. In fall 2023, we took a little getaway trip to Lenox and enjoyed apple picking, delicious food, fall weather and leaf peeping! Lenox proved to be just as magical with the change of seasons, and we knew we wanted to go back soon! Fortunately, Jade took a teaching position with the Boston University Tanglewood Institute in summer 2024 and our Lenox adventure just kept going from there! After getting engaged on July 1st, 2024, we took several wedding venue tours in the Berkshires and immediately fell head over heels in love with Tanglewood. We are so thankful that you are joining us on our special day where we have made so many beautiful memories over the years.

Albany Airport is approximately a 55-minute drive to Tanglewood. We recommend renting a car ahead of time for the weekend, or carpooling with others! Please let us know if you have any questions!

Albany International Airport

Bradley Airport just outside of Hartford, CT. It is about 1 hour and 10 minutes away from Lenox, MA. It is a little further than the Albany airport. We recommend renting a car or carpooling from the airport!
